In Leonberg, remembrance extends over several stations. The multilingual brochure of the memorial site offers an overview.
The documentation site for the Leonberg satellite camp is located in the old Engelberg tunnel, the place of the former underground factory. Some original remains of airplane parts and tipper dump lorries can be seen there. In addition to the permanent exhibition, temporary exhibitions are also held, e.g. with student artwork.
In front of the tunnel portal large-size steel walls list the names of all prisoners and other forced labourers.
A freely accessible “path of remembrance” leads from the cemetery via the two camp sites and the tunnel to the mass graves on the Blosenberg. Additional memory paths can be walked on the tracks of forced labour and to the memorials of peace, depending on individual interest.
Volunteers of the association offer guided tours for groups and school classes and support for student research.
